Adding a new Resource - including new Category

Create a department

The first thing you will need to do for your resource is add a department. Do this via these menu sequence

  • Management
  • Practice Setup
  • Departments
  • Add New
  • Type in Department name and give it a code
  • Once the code is entered the Branch Links become available, tick all branches the resource may need schedules for. Then select ‘Close’ to save.

New Categories

If you need to define a new Category, just type the name - and you will be prompted if you wish to create a new one

Create the Resource

Once the department has been set up we need to create the resource. Do this via menu sequence

  • Management
  • Practice Setup
  • Resources
  • Add New
  • Type in Name, Category, and  select the branch and department. The select ‘close’ to save
